Last Spring my wife and I listed our home of 35 years and pretty quickly received an offer which we accepted. Like all such offers this one included a contingency for a pre closing inspection. Well, to make a long story short, the Buyer’s inspection disclosed that unknown to us there was a buried heating oil tank in the front yard, oil in the underground drain tiles and abandoned oil lines still containing oil in the basement. I called NSEC and was immediately transferred to Joe Ozsuscik who set in motion a process to evaluate and remediate all of our problems. Literally within hours Joe had a handle on the problem and had developed a staged remediation process designed to clean up the mess as fast as possible at the lowest cost.
But a plan without the ability to execute isn’t worth very much. All I can say is when Joe’s cleanup crew arrived in a truck, custom built to flush out underground contamination with hot water and neutralizing chemicals, a truck roughly the size of a small submarine I might add, I was sure that not only could NSEC diagnose my problem they also had the resources, including equipment and manpower, to fix it.
And fix it they did. On budget and On time. The house is sold now and my wife and I have moved on. The new buyer’s report that all is well.
