NORTH SHORE IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE WISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES:

North Shore has a contract with the Wisconsin DNR to provide Emergency Response Services. These services include cleaning up hazardous and non-hazardous waste that pose threats to the health, safety and welfare of the general public and environment. The contract details are to provide emergency response services for the All Hazard category (hazardous and non-hazardous waste) for the Northern 2, Northeast, South Central and South East regions of Wisconsin, and also for the Petroleum category (petroleum waste) for the Northeast, South Central and South East regions of Wisconsin.

Our affiliations and compliance memberships include:

  • Avetta: Avetta provides formalized vendor qualification on their service providers to ensure that they conform to health, safety, environmental, and other relevant legislation. This helps companies minimize risk within their supply chains when they work with NSEC, an approved vendor.
  • Federation of Environmental Technologists, Inc. (FET): FET offers education on environmental regulations, compliance issues and technological developments. NSEC also participates in the FET Annual Environmental Conference.
  • Fixxbook/ServiceChannel: Fixxbook validates NSEC’s health and safety information and work performed in the field, manages work orders and provides online invoicing for our Clients.
  • ISNetworld: ISN collects safety, procurement, sustainability, quality and regulatory information from NSEC. They verify its accuracy, and reports the results on their online database.  Companies can select NSEC as a contractor.
